Doheny Beach

San Clemente North Beach
An accessible, kid-friendly area, this coastal spot offers a snack bar, playground equipment, beach volleyball and snorkeling gear rentals.
Trafalger Street
One of the busiest seashores in town, T-Street hosts families, teens, walkers and surfers. A large sandbar creates a shallow area for younger tourists, and amenities include picnic tables, food stands, board rentals and showers.
San Clemente State Beach
Visited by a variety of surfers and campers, this beach has cookout facilities and RV hookups for those who'd like to stay awhile.
San Onofre State Park
Home to Old Man's and Trestles, two of the West Coast's famous surfing haunts, San Onofre is a boarder's dream. While it can be difficult to get to, the scenic coastal canyon has a world-famous, expert surf break.
Talega Golf Club
Set amid natural terrain and co-designed by Master's champ Fred Couples. The Talega course is designed for a range of golfing abilities, and visitors can unwind at the Heritage Grille after navigating the 72-par course.
San Clemente Golf Club
A family-friendly course boasting ocean views from several holes. The course made the news in 2004 when it received an award for being the Best Value in Orange County.
Shorecliffs Course
A challenging course built in 1964. Visitors will enjoy the painted murals connecting the course's holes, and will find a breathtaking seaside view when teeing off from hole five.
