March/April: Easter Eggstravaganza
It's the great big egg event that you just don't want to miss - Egghunts, unlimited action, plus Little Bo Peep and her herds of sheep, a wandering Path of Random Facts, and the usual indulgences - like scrumptious food, face painters, strange animals, jugglers big and small and other astounding acts of fun!
May: Cinco de Mayo
This daylong celebration of the culture of Mexico, held at Max Berg Plaza Park is favorite event. Admission is free, and the attractions include Mariachis, Aztec Dancers, Ballet Folkloric, ballad singers, and many live bands. Other activities include children’s games, contests, and crafts, authentic food and drink, annual art competition, and a great car display.
June: Spring Garden Tour
Annual one-day self-guided tour of five outstanding local gardens. The community and members of the Garden Club are invited to visit these showplace gardens that offer diverse landscape design, plant materials and lots of good ideas to take home to their own garden. Proceeds from the tour benefit their scholarship project and civic beautification projects.
June: San Clemente Car Show
The Annual San Clemente Car Show is put on by the Downtown Business Association. Free admission and parking. Entertainment, food and over 300 cars on display.
July: San Clemente Fireworks Show
July 4-At 9:00 p.m. the City continues its annual tradition with a spectacular fireworks display from the Municipal Pier.
July: Ocean Festival
Waterman & Waterwoman Competitions, Surf & Bodysurf Contests, Fishing Derbies, Woody Car Exhibit, Ocean Art Show, pancake breakfast, Children’s Pavilion and much, much more!
August: San Clemente Street Fair and Fiesta
With continuous entertainment on three stages. Food booths, contests and games provided by non-profit organizations.
June-August: Summer Beach Concert Series
Join the community to celebrate ten years of live music on the beach with the sunset as your backdrop and free seating in the sand while supporting music education and local artists in this ultimate concert venue!
August: San Clemente Annual Fine Art and Craft Fair
The San Clemente Art Association (SCAA) has established a reputation for producing an annual fine art and craft show that equals or surpasses similar events. This show offers a unique blend of original, fine art and fine hand-crafts, in a lovely setting close to the ocean. Event is free to the public.
October: San Clemente Sea Fest
Sponsored by the San Clemente Chamber, this event features a Chowder Cook-off, an Arts & Craft Show, a two day Surf Contest, entertainment and an array of fresh seafood, served seaside on the beach in the historic San Clemente Pier area.
November: A Taste of San Clemente
Held under the stars, this annual event serves up culinary masterpieces from over twenty of the areas finest restaurants, as well as sixteen premium wineries from throughout California, ice cold Microbrews and more. Everyone is sure to find something pleasing to the palette.
