San Clemente Cove Resort promotes environmental practices that reduces the impact on the environment and satisfy Owner & Guest expectations for environmentally conscious hospitality practices. Here is a list of the initiatives that have been implemented:

• Replacing exterior windows with energy efficient windows.
• Installed compact fluorescent bulbs in all units.
• Recycling CFS lights properly at end of life cycle.
• Installed recycling containers outside each trash chute.
• Purchasing recycled paper towels.
• Replacing appliances and television, as needed, with energy efficient appliances.
• Ceiling fans have been installed in ALL bedroom units.
• Low-flow showerheads have been installed in all units.
• Using non-toxic biodegradable cleaners.
• Installed timers on fireplaces.
• Using a boiler monitor which lowers the temperature when not in use.
• Maintenance and housekeeping turn off all lights and the thermostat when units are unoccupied.
• Weekly audit of irrigation system.
