The LAB Anti-Mall

Are you craving a unique shopping experience? The LAB Anti-Mall is anything but your average, everyday shopping mall and you are not going to want to miss out on this one-of-a-kind experience.

Shopping Bags

The LAB stands for “Little American Business” and is the backbone to this anti-mall concept. This open-air destination is vibrant and full of art installations, galleries, maker’s markets, eateries, and more. Beyond preparing to shop, make sure you are ready for some great photo ops because the installations are a sight to see.

History

Over 25 years ago, Shaheen Sadeghi gutted a vacant plant that once manufactured night vision goggles and transformed it into the LAB. The LAB was designed to combat retail monotony and encourage the community to support small businesses. “This building is…raw, soulful and comfortable, a place where you can sip coffee, play chess, or read a book,” Sadeghi said.

Location

The LAB occupies two aging warehouses on Bristol Street in Orange County at 2930 Bristol St. Costa Mesa, CA 92626
